History
Orator & The III
Our vision is built from Andrei Schiller-Chan's close friendship with David McCallum III, wrongfully convicted for thirty years and after whom the company is named. Much of the wisdom the company embodies came through their letter correspondence and limited prison visits.
David is a pinnacle of truth and immense courage — he took great pains to overcome his physical and mental prison walls and refused to let his environment dictate his character. He was exonerated in October 2014.
What Sol III Co. does
Rehabilitation through voice.
Funds collected from the art-forms are donated to partners that bring opportunities to prisons — boxing, yoga, mentoring. Primary donations go to monetary assistance for ongoing wrongful convictions and post-exonerations.
Main donations are funded through Orator, The Hurricane Hall and other mediums, going to Innocence International and Liberation Prison Yoga.
